Ichigo and Nel encounter the Privaron Espada Dordonii, and Ichigo does battle with him. Meanwhile, Ishida and Chad each encounter an arrancar while Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen look on. Though Ichigo and Dordonii are about even at first, Dordonii gains the upper hand by releasing his zanpakutō. Nel stumbles in on their fight, and the eyes of her skull mask glow at the prospect of Ichigo’s death.
